Moose Hunting

The hunting areas consist of old burns, low swampy willow flats, extensive river systems dotted with lakes and other prime moose habitat.

Since we are hunting in remote areas, the hunting pressure is minimal. Many moose taken in this area qualify for the record books with a large number of bulls in the 60 inch range. Numerous outstanding trophies have been taken over the years including the Number 2 Canadian Moose ever taken with a bow shot by Fred Gamble in 1994.

Our hunting camps offer two (2) hunters for one (1) guide. This small camp allows for personal attention to the hunters needs and a higher success rate. The hunters are very comfortable in the large wall tents with a wood burning stove. All meals are provided in camp with plenty of time to relax and take in the majestic beauty of the Alberta wilderness.

Your guide will take you by canoe or aluminum boat into the heart of the forest each day to call the mating bulls to the waters edge.
