Bear Hunting Floating the rivers in the spring for bear is a highly successful method of hunting for black, brown, cinnamon and blond coloured trophies. You can expect to float between 80 and 100 miles in search for the bruins. Good fishing for northern pike and walleye will complement this float trip. Also, there will be plenty of photographic opportunities for moose, wolf, bear, ducks, and other wildlife. This is a unique experience for the hunter. Over the years, many bears between seven (7) and eight (8) feet have been taken. Of those, 25% have been brown or cinnamon phase coloured bears. Each hunter can harvest two (2) bears in the spring and can hunt wolf at the same time. 2010 Hunting Schedule
